SSAA Membership

SSAA MEMBERSHIPS                                                   JOIN HERE

Your membership gives us strength to lobby the State and Federal Governments on matters that affect our sport. The greater our membership, the more effective we are.

When you become a member of the SSAA, you become part of Australia’s largest shooting organisation and join thousands of other people around the country in ensuring the future of the shooting sports.

You are part of an Australia-wide support network, with access to SSAA sporting facilities in each state. In Western Australia alone we have over 10000 members and more than 70 clubs covering all disciplines as well as our Conservation and Wildlife Management groups who regularly perform pest management tasks as required by WA Department of Parks and Wildlife.

Every single SSAA member is covered for liability and personal accident insurance, along with membership discounts and benefits on other policies when using the services of the SSAA Insurance Brokers (SSAAIB). The liability insurance covers the member while engaged in all lawful recreational shooting activities to a limit of $20 million, subject to an excess. Some other benefits include free annual subscription to Australian Shooter magazine, The Junior Shooter, SSAA National E-newsletter and discounted rates on all our other publications.

The SSAA Farmer Assist Program provides members with increased access to hunting opportunities while helping out our farmers with their pest management issues.

SSAA memberships are offered to juniors and pensioners at discounted rates. Proof of pensioner status by way of SSAA pensioner membership card, a Pension Concession Card issued by Centrelink or a Veterans Affairs Pension Card will be accepted. However, Seniors and Health Care cards are not.

There are many different options for becoming a financial member.
