Junior Sports Shooting
Shooting is one of the few sports that encourages and
caters for the participation of the young and old, males and females,
able-bodied and disabled. The SSAA and sports shooting overall is a
family-orientated pastime and the whole family can enjoy a newfound group of
friends, as well as many challenges, once the involvement begins.
Sponsor a junior member for your chance to win
Juniors are essential to the ongoing strength and vitality of the SSAA and ensuring the future of the shooting sports in Australia. With this in mind, SSAA National launched our ‘Sign up a Junior’ campaign, aimed at helping to introduce and retain youngsters in our sport.
If you’re a family member or friend of a young person interested in recreational shooting, consider supporting them by way of a sponsored junior membership and encourage them to be the best sportsperson they can be. For just $25, you can help a junior forge their shooting future. Plus, as an added bonus, you and your sponsored junior will go into the draw to win one of two great major prizes.
Simply complete the ‘Sign up a Junior’ form available in your Australian Shooter magazine, or fill out a membership application online. When signing up online, be sure to tick the ‘Junior’ membership category, select ‘Sponsored’ and enter your own SSAA membership number to go into the draw.
All junior members who join or renew their membership between January 1 and December 31, 2017, will go into the draw to win $500 worth of merchandise from the SSAA Store. Additionally, all adults who sponsor a junior member will go into the draw to win $1000 worth of SSAA merchandise.
