2018 SSAA (WA) Fly Shoot State Championships  

Saturday 24th March - 500m LG & HG Centrefire

Saturday 31st March - 200m Rimfire

Perth Rifle Metallic Silhouette Club, Wanneroo Shooting Complex, Perry Road, PINJAR 

First practice round will start at 7.30am SHARP   

  • Light Gun Class
  • Heavy Gun
  • Rim Fire Class

Classes will be capped at 30 shooters for per class LG & HG

And 35 shooters for Rimfire

If a class does not fill before the event, you may nominate BEFORE 6.30am on the day

Costs = $30.00 per class (LG & HG), or enter in to both for $50.00

Rim Fire is $30

Juniors $15 per class

SSAA card needs to be sighted on the day of the shoot


To allow time to arrange bench draws, nominations are to be forwarded via email no later than 5.00pm, Wednesday 21st March 2018 for CF and Wednesday 28th March for Rimfire , to the following organiser:

· Name

· Calibre (if more than one class - calibre for each class)

· Class or classes you wish to shoot

· Details regarding sharing equipment (with who and what) 

· Junior or left-hander

· Contact phone number, email address and any other details you may have for the equipment list


Light Gun, Heavy Gun and Rimfire competition shall be run as a registered match under the SSAA Benchrest Fly rule book. Rules and class information is available via email or

2 Gun (LG & HG):  Bronze, Silver and Gold

Smallest grouping: LG & HG

Highest target score: LG & HG

Rimfire: Bronze, Silver and Gold

Juniors: Bronze, Silver and Gold

Fly patches on offer for all events

For your convenience, the range will be open on Friday 23rd March between 3pm and 6pm for practice and flag set up on CF range and Friday the 30th March between 3pm and 6pm for practice and flag set up on the RF range.

Important Note: There will be a BBQ lunch and cool drinks/water/ chocolate bars available to buy at events, if you require anything else please bring it along.

Fly shooting delegates meeting will be held after the match on the Saturday 24th March. Clubs are reminded they are allowed 2 voting delegates at this meeting; delegates must be nominated in writing. The meeting will elect the state discipline delegate.
