2019 SSAA Scoped 3-Positional, Field Rifle, NRA & Air Rifle National Championships

The 2019 Scoped 3-Positional, Field Rifle, NRA & Air Rifle National Championships will be hosted by Southern Districts Rifle Club, Western Australia. The range is located on Albany Hwy, Bedfordale, 8kms from the Albany Hwy/Armadale Rd/South Western Hwy inter-section in Armadale. Southern Districts Rifle Club (Inc) was established in 1982 and has developed into a multi disciplined shooting facility with the capacity of hosting State and National shooting events.
In May 1982, Andie Currie placed an advertisement in a local paper asking that anyone interested in forming a shooting club attend an in-formational meeting he had organised. More than 100 people respond-ed to his ad and as a result a suitable sight for the Southern Districts Rifle Club (SDRC) just outside of Perth was found. The Club has a 200m range that has closed in shooting mounds with 27 shooting bays. The clubhouse features toilets, hot shower, a canteen and bar facilities. An additional 50m range has recently been completed and offers a closed in shooting mound with 20 shooting bays.
The competition is graded and all levels of shooters are encouraged to attend. Eligibility is open to all current financial members of SSAA. Medals for 1st, 2nd & 3rd in each grade per event, 1st in each individual position, 1st, 2nd, & 3rd in each open Two Gun and the open Four Gun Championship. plus junior categories U/18 & U/15. Points towards the National Hall of Fame in Field Rifle , 3 Positional, NRA & Air Rifle for position wins, event wins and 1st, 2nd & 3rd in the Two Gun events.
AUSTRALIAN and NATIONAL Open & Junior Records are open to be broken in this event and, If shot, will remain provisional until ratified by the National Field Rifle Sub-Committee during the shooters meeting.
