PLEASE NOTE: YOU MUST BE A CURRENT FINANCIAL MEMBER OF THE SSAA TO COMPETE IN THE FIELD PISTOL STATE TITLES, MEMBERSHIP CARDS WILL NEED TO BE SIGHTED AT THE RANGE AT REGISTRATION AS A CONDITION OF ENTRY.
All registrations to be received by close of business, Tuesday, 4th September 2018, no late
registrations or registrations on the day will be accepted.
Registrations can be accepted by email before 4/9/18, however payment will be required by the day of the event.
PLEASE NOTE: SHOOTERS COMPETING ON BOTH DAYS WILL BE ELIGIBLE FOR THE POLO SHIRT, ONLY IF THEIR MONIES ARE RECEIVED BY THE CUT OFF DATE WHICH IS 4th September 2018, HOWEVER SHIRTS CAN BE PURCHASED IF ANY OTHER COMPETITIORS WISH TO OBTAIN ONE.

0900 Start: Staged Ranges: From 25 metres to 100 metres scored
Minimum rounds required: 36
Varmint Long Range Match
1100 Start: Staged Ranges: From 100 metres to 200 metres scored
Please note: This match will be run numbers permitting.

Field & Action Match (2 Stages)
Stage 1. RACK EM AND STACK EM
Stage 2. FAST FREDDY
Minimum rounds required: Shotgun – 18, Rifle – 16, Pistol - 41

Field Pistol Hunter Course Competition (4 Stages)
Stage 1. SUKILALA STATIC (3 Stages – 42 rounds)
Stage 2. FOCUS ON IT (Tribute to our Focus) (26 Rounds)
Stage 3. HAPPY WANDERER (34 Rounds)
Stage 4. CRAZY CAMPERS (30 rounds)
Hunter course require a minimum number of 132 rounds total
This will consist of varied stages, minimum rounds required 132 for match.
We will plan to hold four stages on Sunday, minimum rounds are based on the maximum stages being shot.
Minimum ammunition required for Sunday total is 132, however even so the shooter needs to bring as many rounds above this as they may think they require.
Please Note: Each competitor must be able to carry A MINIMUM OF 30 rounds loaded on their belt to compete effectively and must be competent in the handling of their firearm. This includes dealing with misfires, jams and firearm or equipment preparation / making ready which is solely the shooter’s responsibility. Please note that there will be no allowance for reloading magazines during the stages
PLEASE MAKE SURE YOU ARE FAMILIAR WITH THE FIELD PISTOL RULES AS THE MATCHES WILL BE SHOT IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE FIELD PISTOL RULE BOOK 2005
Medals for each class will only be awarded if there is a minimum of three (3) shooters competing in that class.

Please Note: You must pre-register and send in your registration form by close of business, 4th September 2018, this will be the close off date for registrations.
Only Shooters registering for both days and paid by 4th September 2018 will receive the Field Pistol State Titles 2018 Competition Shirt

General Timings both days.
0800 – Arrive at range, set up and collect shooter’s packs
0830 – Match Briefing and scrutineering of equipment including rests
0900 – Commence shoot
1200 – Rolling lunches to be taken depending on squad demand.
1300 – Recommence competition
Shooters must sign in by 0815 hrs sharp at the Range Clubhouse due to the requirement to attend the safety briefing which will commence at 0830 hrs each day. You must attend the safety briefings if you wish to compete in the FP State Titles. Lunches included in nomination, however morning tea and bottled and canned drinks (soft drink & water) will be available for sale at the clubhouse, Tea and Coffee will be provided free.
A free BBQ Sausage Sizzle will be held at the end of Sunday while Scores are tallied and winners confirmed.
All presentations will be done on Sunday afternoon, or earlier as the shoot dictates, in clubhouse. Medals will be engraved and sent by mail post match.
Discipline Delegates Meeting will be held Sunday at 1500 hours in clubhouse, after the cessation of shooting.
Please Note: Two delegates who must be current financial SSAA members must be nominated in writing from their Club Secretary from each club attending, please submit this to the

It is also acceptable to hand in submissions in writing from each club competing to the Field Pistol State Delegate on the day.
Competitors shall nominate in one Varmint, and/or one Field Pistol class ONLY. Varmint LR and Field & Action are also available if the shooter wishes to compete in them.
If you wish to be eligible also for the perpetual SSAA trophies, the cartridge class must be the same for both Varmint and Field Pistol competition, (i.e. both Rimfire or Centrefire categories). If you shoot different cartridges in each class there are category medals to be won even if you don’t qualify for the SSAA trophies, you must shoot both matches to be eligible.
Please note: Competitors must load and use lead projectiles only. Any competitor who cannot fulfil this requirement (i.e. has copper jacketed projectiles) must inform the Match Director when they arrive at the range.
