2019 SSAA (WA) BIG GAME RIFLE STATE

SUNDAY 10th NOVEMBER

Program:

Sunday gates open 8am.

Sign on and register for match’s wanting to shoot 8 – 9am

First detail 9.30am

Match’s to be shot:

All 8-core matches’ for Big Game Rifle will be shot.

Stalking Class

Special Snap, Group 1 minimum calibre, 8 shots

Stalking Double Rifle, 0.228 minimum calibre, 14 shots

Group 1, 20 shots

Black Powder Express, 20 shots (no optical sights allowed)

Stopping Class

Bore Gun, 14 shots (no optical sights allowed)

Stopping Double Rifle, Group 2 minimum calibre, 10 shots

Group 2, 14 shots

Group 3, 8 shots

Nominations:

All nominations will be taken at the range on the day during sign in between 8 and 9am.

There is no entry cost.

Rules:

All matches will be shot in accordance with the current SSAA Rules.

Teams and Team Selection:

There is no teams’ events or state team selection at this event.

Prizes:

Medals awarded for 1st, 2nd and 3rd for each of the 8 core events for the matches listed to shoot above.

1st, 2nd and 3rd for Veterans (60 years and over) based on two events shot

Shield for top shooter open (state champion)

Ladies and Junior winners also places for 1st 2nd and 3rd and are any two events as per veteran’s

Presentation of the place getters is at the Big Game Rifle Club AGM held in November

Facilities:

There are no facilities at PBGRC; there is some temporary shade only.

Discipline meeting:

PBGRC discipline meeting will be held at the conclusion of shooting Sunday 10th of November at

approximately 3pm
